About me:
A balance of ongoing education, work in the field of counseling and therapy, and personal life experience continue to fuel my passion for this work. I believe in the process of therapy and have a great deal of hope for the growth and progress of those who choose to begin this work.
Although I was born and raised in California, I have called Arizona home for over 18 years. I enjoy living in this beautiful desert with my husband and our two children, in a community of close friends and extended family.
I am licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which means I have been trained to work with individual adults, children and adolescents, as well as couples, families and groups. My treatment philosophy is Client-Centered and based on Family Systems Theory and various theories of Individual Development. My role as your therapist is to provide guidance, support and a safe, confidential environment to help you find the answers you're looking for. In therapy you can expect unceasing honesty, respect and acceptance. These, along with time and experience are the building blocks of trust which is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
